What Should You Provide Us With?

Our technology, technicians, and skillsets provide consistent, quality restorations, but only if we receive everything necessary to produce the results you desire.

Below are a few of the items we are requesting from you as the dentist to reduce any difficulties and make sure that your cases go as smoothly as possible.

CLEAR MARGINS

Regardless of whether your restorations require traditional (impressions) or digital (scans) workflows, there must be clarity in the margins you provide us with.

BITE REGISTRATION

It is highly recommended for our dentists to take bite registrations and shades for the patient prior to their treatment and provide the details to us. This gives us the best context to help accomodate your patients’ needs.

CASE NOTES

Please include with your cases written details about your patient’s treatment plan along with any other information that would be helpful. If there is a model available, please send it to us as well as this will ensure aesthetic accuracy.

PHOTOS

If case notes or a model are not possible or inconvenient, please send us any photos of your patient’s teeth and smile to our email at sdlcadcam@shaw.caHaving a visual reference will enable us to better interpret your cases.
