SWISS DENTAL LABORATORY continues today with its uncompromised tradition of quality and craftsmanship envisioned by its founder Heinz Fraefel.

Born in Switzerland and arriving in Canada in early 1972, Heinz Fraefel brought with him what makes Switzerland’s dental products excel in craftsmanship and quality.

Despite outsourcing trends and cost-cutting temptations, SWISS DENTAL LABORATORY continues to resist and refuse to compromise craftsmanship, quality or patient safety in favor of profit margins.

In the summer of 2014, SWISS DENTAL LABORATORY elected Michael Lam as its new president. Michael Lam brings in years of experience from the health sector, both in its private and public aspects.

He has been appointed twice by two different BC health ministers to sit in the College of Physical Therapists of BC as a public representative. As well, he has sat in the Quality Assurance Program Committee with the College of Physical Therapists of BC.

He was also part of a delegation invited by the Philippines government through their Department of Tourism to visit their dental and health facilities as part of a medical tourism group. Michael Lam has also spoken at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry several times as a guest speaker.

As the current president of SWISS DENTAL LABORATORY, I have one simple goal in mind:
