OUR PRESIDENT

Mr. Michael Lam was a graduate of Simon Fraser University.

From 1997 to 2019, Michael Lam was a Financial Advisor with some of the top financial companies in Canada. Although not a dentist or a dental lab technician by training, he has established a background in both dental practice management and dental lab operations through his work as a lab owner and other projects. He has given numerous dental practice management lectures at UBC Faculty of Dentistry.

With over two decades of experience in the healthcare field, Michael Lam’s background includes involvements in both the public and private health sectors.

He was a past director for the Canada Singapore Business Association and founder of the South East Asia Canada Business Council, as well as an appointed past Director on the Quality Assurance Program committee for the College of Physiotherapists of BC.

He is currently the President and Owner of Swiss Dental Laboratory as well as the founder and CEO of Advancemy.
